Why Gluten Free?

Coeliacs require a Gluten Free diet. In essence, Gluten is contained in cereals such as Wheat, Oats, Barley, Rye and Spelt. It is this component that is detrimental to the health of a Coeliac.

Today it is believed that Gluten Free food might be easier on the stomach and many people switch to a Gluten Free diet from a health and wellbeing context. People feel in many cases more energetic and revitalised.

We strive to ensure that our Gluten Free offering is not just Gluten Free but also meets the needs of other vital nutritional aspects for a well balanced diet. We have thus incorporated high Fibre where possible and low sodium etc.

Gluten Free for us is more than just making a product it is about nutritious, tasty, wholesome food for every day and that special indulgence that you deserve every day.

Ingredient numbers in Food

Many manufacturers use the numbering system used around the world to describe specific hard to spell or complicated ingredient words. There is nothing wrong with this and many of these numbers are natural products. We do use such common things like Xhathan Gum (E415) and Guar Gum (E412) etc, what is important to us that they are regarded as good food ingredients and have a “smiley face”.
